Hiker’s Rest AT Hickory Hollow is a dream come true for my wife Julie and me. She is a two-time Thru-hiker of the Appalachian Trail known to many as "Stripper". (You have to meet her to get the story on that one.) Our passion for the outdoors and desire to help fellow hikers and outdoor enthusiasts led us to create this hiker hostel. We are located in a prime spot, close to many points on the trail and providing access to water sports, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Gatlinburg and Pigion Forge are close-by for a day of food and fun. We offer comfortable accommodations, friendly service, and a unique experience that sets us apart from other hostels.
